Fire Devil was born out of a love of stunning glass jewellery and a desire to create truly unique pieces that stand the test of time and combine quality with affordability.

Have you ever bought something which later fell apart, or you found out was silver plated because it lost its shine or turned your skin green?

"Well, that happened to me so, I set about finding out how to create my own jewellery, so I wouldn't be disappointed any more. And so, Fire Devil was born. I fell in love with the beautiful shine you can only get from dichroic glass and that, combined with my love of silver, meant a match made in heaven. Fire Devil allows me to create beautiful and individual pieces of jewellery that are made with only the best materials and which last; for myself, my family, my friends and now - for you!

What is FD jewellery made with?

The glass used to create the stunning shimmer effect is called dichroic and was originally created for use in the aerospace industry, but it has an amazing sparkle and iridescence when combined with art glasses and fired into jewellery.

Much glass jewellery is made from silver plate, but not Fire Devil - everything is made with .925 Sterling Silver. If it looks silver, it IS silver! The silver works with the top quality dichroic & art glasses along with semi-precious gemstone beads to create pieces that will last a lifetime. Watch out for the hallmark on pieces that have over 7.78g of silver in weight - a .925 stamp is not a hallmark and anyone can use it. Only an official hallmark gives a guarantee.

The fired glass is surprisingly robust and can resist a few knocks or dropping (being a butter-fingers means I do regular 'crash tests'!) and will happily withstand normal wear as long as you treat each piece with a little care and love.
